Infreight Logistics Solutions Ltd was founded by Rahul Mehta in the Year 2000 and operated as one of the first business to business portals for the transport/logistics space in India. Infreight’s neutral freight exchange enabled shippers and service providers to conduct business through an online platform. In the year 2002, Sundaram Finance who is one of the largest non banking financial institutions invested for a major stake in Infreight. This strategic investment provided commercial vehicle owner customers of Sundaram to benefit from Infreight services in the country. Over a period of time, Infreight progressed to providing full fledged services/ solutions in the logistics space. In the year 2006, Infreight became a subsidiary company of Sundaram Finance Ltd. Infreight’s first of a kind “Community” initiative launched during this period to bring in Fleet Owner – Transporters to directly work with assured loads, defined payments, align with a brand etc to ensure uninterrupted fleet supply at optimum prices.

Infreight’s transport/ logistics services are deployed with strong IT backbone of integrated Transport Management Software and complimented by consulting and knowledge management team intrinsic to the company.
